Studies: Challenge: When a major IT blue-chip solutions provider inherited difficulties from a third party equipment maintainer after securing an outsourcing contract with a major drinks and leisure company, they turned first to CAMO Technologies as their complementary workforce partner. The previous supplier hadn't invested in staff development & training, leading partly to high attrition and partly to unsatisfactory performance levels. Solution: In just 8 weeks, our team worked with this major name in IT solutions, and their client's HR department, to help take everything in-house smoothly transferring all legal and other appropriate undertakings from the previous employer for a staff of 30. Strategic Staffing Services on Java , J2EE Client: A Leading Provider of Hardware, Software and Services for the Internet Domain Focus: Information Technology The Technology: JAVA™ The Situation: Our client is a major leading provider of hardware, software and services used for powering the Internet. The company's Global Sales & Marketing IT (GSM IT) is responsible for all development, maintenance and support of the company's external portal development initiatives including two of its Web sites. The Challenge: When the relationship between CAMO Technologies and the client began, the client was in desperate need of qualified high-level JAVA™/J2EE consultants to work within the "External Portal Development" group. The group was very understaffed from a development perspective and needed to grow to approximately 25 developers in a short duration of time in order to stay on schedule for upcoming application release deadlines. The Solution: CAMO Technologies was able to fill all 22 positions with qualified consultants, many of who eventually went on to fill key roles within the group. In addition, our Account Manager assumed part-time responsibilities on-site at the company in order to help manage the day- to-day human resources-related issues with his consultants. This has proven to be an enormous value-add for the GSM IT managers. Our Account Manager is actively involved in staff meetings, performance reviews and other team building events. The Result: Management within GSM IT was ecstatic about both the level of service being provided, as well as the turnaround time with which CAMO Technologies was able to deliver such high caliber technical talent. The firm has since received numerous reference letters commending a job well done, and has also been referred to other groups within the client's group companies. |
